Colton Maddox the stereotypical playboy billionaire, known for giving a woman a night to remember, but being gone the next morning. He’s not looking for love, but meeting Lila Bailey at a Hampton’s party changes his life. Lila down to her last few dollars, and though she’s starting to get a following for her designs, the jobs she’s working to make ends meet are crushing her creativity, and she’s about to call it quits and go back to Malibu. Colton can’t lose her, not now that he’s found the woman who was made for him, but he only has a week to convince her to return back to New York, and to be with him.
For someone who had been such a manwhore, Colton Maddox was such a simp for Lila from the minute he met her. She was sweet and innocent, but she had a dream which wasn't working. Living in the Hamptons and working all hours of the day had got her a small following, but she needed more to be able to be the designer she wanted to be. Going back to California for her best friend's wedding, this was her last ditch hope before she called it quits. Maddox overheard it all, and didn't want her to travel alone across the country, so in true billionaire fashion, he got the biggest RV he could find, which was basically a palace on wheels, just to be close to her. There's a twist that I saw coming a mile off, but it was still fab to read. The conflict was a bit too angst-y for me, but it didn't ruin the reading experience. Roll on book 4!
