Goodreads Synopsis
Meet the most respectable member of the Kendrick Clan in bestselling author Vanessa Kelly's intoxicating series—and the independent woman who has stolen his heart...
Miss Kathleen Calvert may be the daughter of an Irish aristocrat, but she has no intention of acting like one. All she desires is to return to her family's estate to raise horses and manage her father's magnificent gardens. But when a scandal threatens her reputation, her parents order her to a remote Scottish estate, hoping she will finally learn to behave like a proper lady. To make matters worse, her escort is a handsome Highlander who just happens to be the most boring man in all of Scotland...
After a youth of dangerous and wild escapades, Grant Kendrick surprised his family—and himself—by becoming a successful businessman and the most respectable Kendrick brother. But does that matter, when the beautiful and free-spirited Kathleen deems him a stodgy bore? Luckily, he gets the chance to prove her wrong when their carriage is ambushed by thieves. But it will take all his ingenuity to protect the beautiful lass who has stormed her way into his heart—and to convince her that a life with him will be a love-filled adventure...

Review
I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher, via NetGalley. This in no way impacted on my view.
In The Highlander's Irish Bride, the staid Grant Kendrick meets his match in free-spirited Kathleen Calvert. As the daughter of a nobleman, Kathleen should be quiet, and respectable, and care about her reputation as an unmarried lady. But instead, she cares about her family's estate, horses, and having fun. But when a scandal threatens to ruin her, and her younger step-sisters - who she adores - she agrees that time away from London could be a good thing. However, her plan to return to Ireland is scuppered when her step mother instead wishes to send her to Scotland, to be with her cousin, Sabrina, on a remote estate in Highlands. Meeting the Kendrick family, and dealing with a stowaway sister, Kathleen is starting to enjoy herself, but straitlaced Grant both entices her and infuriates her at every turn. Will he be able to prove he's more than a bore, or are they doomed to be apart due to a misunderstanding?
This might be the last book in the Clan Kendrick series - though I hope it isn't - and it's definitely one I loved. Grant is a character I've never really got a feel for in the previous books, but I wanted him to find happiness like his brother's have. Kathleen was a riot, and I loved reading her chapters. She clung to Ireland as a way to remember her late mother, and her father's care was somewhat lax for the most part, so she had more time to be scandalous than would be normal. But, she loved her sisters, and wouldn't want to do anything to hurt their futures, even when they infuriate her like hiding away in the back of a carriage. Some of the scenes between Grant and Kathleen infuriated me, I just wanted them to talk or kiss, but they had some heartfelt moments, and came together in a natural, and believable way. All of the side characters were a joy to read, though Jeannie did grate on me a little at times. Maybe there'll be another book about her and Kade, or Braeden will get a story - I hope so because I love this family!
