Goodreads Synopsis
Sometimes the best gentleman for the job is a lady.

After years of living as London's brightest scandal, Lady Sesily Talbot has embraced the reputation and the freedom that comes with the title. No one looks twice when she lures a gentleman into the dark gardens beyond a Mayfair ballroom...and no one realizes those trysts are not what they seem.

No one, that is, but Caleb Calhoun, who has spent years trying not to notice his best friend's beautiful, brash, brilliant sister. If you ask him, he's been a saint about it, considering the way she looks at him...and the way she talks to him...and the way she'd felt in his arms during their one ill-advised kiss.

Except someone has to keep Sesily from tumbling into trouble during her dangerous late-night escapades, and maybe close proximity is exactly what Caleb needs to get this infuriating, outrageous woman out of his system. But now Caleb is the one in trouble, because he's fast realizing that Sesily isn't for forgetting...she's forever. And forever isn't something he can risk.

Review
In Bombshell, Sesily Talbot, one of the infamous Talbot sister's, finds that her actions are being watched, by the one person she's always wanted to notice her. For years, she's been known as the Scandalous Talbot, and when she gets herself into dalliances and trysts, no one really bats an eyelid. But what she's doing is more than it seems, and she and a ragtag bunch of 'outsiders' are hoping to right wrongs and help woman in society. However, Caleb Calhoun, an American who's best friend is Sesily's sister, and has tried to avoid noticing what Sesily does, can't help himself, and wants to protect her - even if she doesn't need it. When their feelings for each other come to a head, can they come to terms with them, or will the chemistry and passion overflow, and cause their downfall?

This book is one I've been waiting for for ages. We met both characters in previous books, in other series, and the attraction between them was undeniable. I was hoping that at some point we would see their story, and Bombshell more than met all my expectations, and then some. The characters were just so well written and fleshed out, it was like watching real people rather than reading a book. Sesily was just a hoot, full of vim and vigour, and I adored her personality. She was someone who didn't wear her heart on her sleeve, but loved wholeheartedly, and was quite sensitive underneath. For Caleb, he had a lot of secrets, and didn't let many people close - really it was only Seraphina who he could be himself around. But with Sesily, his protective side and loving nature really came to the forefront, and we saw him rather than his public persona. The whole group of the Hell's Belles were amazing, and Sarah has really set up the stage for the other books in the series! Sarah's knocked it out of the park once again.
