Goodreads Synopsis
In this dazzling new novel from bestselling author Vanessa Kelly, the wildest member of Clan Kendrick has found his purpose as a government agent. Now he must also meet his match...

Lady Sabrina Bell has never been so embarrassed in her life. Not only did her new suitor fail to appear for their morning rendezvous in Hyde Park, but a thief pushed her into the Serpentine. Being rescued by a burly Highlander just adds to her humiliation. Nor is he content with rescuing her just once. Even when Sabrina travels to Edinburgh as part of King George's entourage, Graeme Kendrick is there, interfering, exasperating, and so very tempting...

Once notorious for being the most unruly Kendrick brother, Graeme now runs dangerous missions for the King's spymaster. Yet nothing has prepared him for Sabrina. The only child of a wealthy earl, and the pampered goddaughter of the king himself, she is stubborn, impetuous, and far too good for him. He doesn't deserve her, but he can protect her and then send her safely back home. But the bonny Sassenach has her own ideas—and a plan for seduction that no red-blooded Highlander could resist...

Review
As one of the unruly Kendrick twins, Graeme Kendrick has always had a bit of a reputation. But lately he's settled down, and now works for the King's spymaster to protect the country. On one of his latest missions, he comes upon Lady Sabrina Bell, god-daughter to the king, being accosted by a thief in Hyde Park, and has to jump to the rescue. Losing his quarry, he's angry at himself and Sabrina, but luckily he won't have to see her again, right? Wrong, as the King travels to Scotland, with his goddaughter in tow, Graeme has to protect her from a rumoured plot, and get her safely home. But Sabrina loves Scotland, and wishes to visit her mother's family, even if it's against her father's wishes, and Graeme has no choice but to support her, and try and guard his heart in the process.

This was such a great love story. I adored the way Graeme and Sabrina slowly came to their feelings for each other, and their wit and banter from the first scene's were phenomenal. It was clear neither of them was looking for love, or expecting to find it, but with the added Kendrick brood and the fantastic plot lines, it was inevitable. I think that you really need to have read at least the other two books in the series to fully get a feel for the plot line, but it definitely had everything I could ask for. Now I just need to know if Graeme's twin, Grant, can get his HEA, and then I'll be overjoyed!
