I read Wing Jones by Katherine Webber before Christmas, and really enjoyed it. When the opportunity came up to take part in the Photo Tour, I jumped at the chance. Here's my post, complete with a photo and caption :)
I graduated high school and went to the University of California, Davis, where I studied comparative literature. I took one creative writing class and absolutely loved it, but convinced myself that trying to be a fiction writer was a pipe dream and I shouldn’t waste my time. When I wasn’t in class, I was usually sleeping or dressed up in a ridiculous costume with my roommates, who I’m still close friends with. One of them even flew from LA to London to go to the WING JONES book launch.
Wing Jones is the much anticipated debut novel from Katherine Webber, publishing 5th January 2017 in the UK. With a grandmother from China and another from Ghana, fifteen-year-old Wing is often caught between worlds. But when tragedy strikes, Wing discovers a talent for running she never knew she had. Wing's speed could bring her family everything it needs. It could also stop Wing getting the one thing she wants…
Katherine Webber was born in Southern California but has lived in Atlanta, Hawaii, Hong Kong and now in London.
