Review
I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher, via NetGalley. This in no way impacted on my view.

After being stranded in Chicago's O Hare airport during a snowstorm, Paige finds her life is about to change. Meeting three other women who have all been burned by love in the past, she and new friends, Bella, Astrid, and Sienna, form the Karma Club - where they will get their revenge on the men who have hurt them. So Paige volunteers to go first, and soon finds herself in the Cornwall, staying with Bella's ex fiancée Oliver Prendergast. Olly hates people being in his space, so when whirlwind Paige rocks up, with a pet hamster and new dog, there's chaos. But soon Paige's payback plan starts to backfire, and she sees Olly not as an someone evil or vindictive, but someone in pain and infinitely loveable.

When I saw that Amy had a new book coming out, in an interconnected series which sounded great, I knew it was going to be a book for me. The whole premise of this series was superb from start to finish. The girls meeting in the airport was fate, but considering none of them had ever really felt kinship with others in the past, they formed the best friendship. When Paige, who was an executive assistant who could work remotely from anywhere, turned up at Olly's house - who'd been somewhat blackmailed into taking her in - they had such a dynamic love-hate relationship. They were polar opposites on the surface, but when they started spending more time together, they found shared interests. I loved how they challenged each other, and brought out the best in each other. Olly had been a recluse since his father's death, and had been considering writing a biography about his father's life, but never built up the courage to start. Paige give him that, and bolstered him when he was struggling. I had a feeling I wouldn't like the secret keeping in the book, and that was true, but I understood why it had to happen, and feel like Amy dealt with the aftermath of the revelations very well. I'm definitely looking forward to Bella's story now, especially after the peak we got into it during The Payback Plan.
