I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher, via BookSirens. This in no way impacted on my view.
NASCAR driver Ryder has a bad boy attitude that he just can’t throw, and it’s starting to cause him problems. The team owner is ready to drop him, especially if he gets into another altercation with newbie, mysterious driver, Reggie. To improve his reputation Ryder is forced to work with the managers daughter, Blake, at her Play It Forward charity, where athletes from various sports work with young children to help them focus and give them a safe space. What Ryder never expected was to be drawn to Blake so much, even if doing so could risk his career completely.
This was another quick and enjoyable read. I liked both characters, and the fact that it was dual POV, as it really helped us to get an insight into their thinking over various events. The was a big reveal/mystery in the book which was obvious, but still fun to read about. I also liked the growth in some of the secondary characters, especially one whose actions were questionable, but who turned a corner for their loved ones.
