Goodreads Synopsis
It’s not stalking if he’s your hot neighbor… right?
At least, that’s what I tell myself when Adrian Carter moves in next door.
His scowl should make me want to run in the other direction, but when I catch him smothering a smile around me, it makes me want to get to know him more.
And when Adrian starts to open up, I find myself falling in love with the cinnamon roll center hidden beneath his gruff exterior.
But between my emotional baggage and his aversion to relationships, it’s looking like we’ll never be more than neighborly.
But He’s My Grumpy Neighbor is a cozy grumpy/sunshine romcom for lovers of small-town romantic comedies. It has all the sizzling chemistry you love, without any explicit scenes. Check out the first book of the But He’s A Carter Brother Series, a series based around four strong, protective brothers finding love.

Review
I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher, via NetGalley. This in no way impacted on my view.
Finding out that her new neighbour was the grumpy Adrian Carter was a bit of a shock for Juliette, but she took it on the chin. She knew she would be able to get through his tough exterior and make him engage more in their local community, even if it's the last thing she does.
I really enjoyed this book. I read/listened to it on my recent cruise, and it was such a good way to switch off and relax while sailing around the Mediterranean Sea. I loved how well the grumpy/sunshine vibe was shown in Juliette and Adrian. Both of them had suffered in the past, which had affected them in different ways. For Juliette, she fled home as soon as she could, and now see the good in everything, loving her life in the small town. Adrian, on the other hand, completely shut down, and pushed away everyone he loved to try and protect himself. By slowly becoming friends, before giving in to their attraction, they were able to heal some of their wounds together, and it made for a much more believable romance. I'd really like to read the other books in the series, because getting a look at the Carter dynamics just makes me want more.
