Goodreads Synopsis
Getting rescued by my insanely hot, man-of-few-words neighbor was not on my Tuscany to-do list.
Kat
My Kombi van is in a ditch, my plan to build my parents’ dream is already falling apart, and my new neighbor—Marco—is a walking distraction in faded jeans and tight t-shirts. I’m here in Tuscany to restore my crumbling farmhouse and wild vineyard, not to get tangled up with a brooding billionaire whose dinner invitations I can’t refuse.
He’s infuriating, irresistible, and I can’t resist poking at his self-control. When it finally snaps, his kiss consumes me. But with a mysterious buyer trying to force me out, I can’t risk trusting the wrong person—or falling for the wrong guy … again.
Marco
My mission was buy back the land my father gambled away. Securing that land means securing my future. Nothing was supposed to stop me.
Then I met Kat—a beautiful, free-spirited complication I never saw coming. Her touch sets my soul on fire, and she must never know that I’m the person trying to buy her out. I’m supposed to find her weak spot, negotiate, and then seal the deal.
But the more time I spend with her, the more I see she belongs here, hands in the soil, just as much as I do. And when she offers to help me in a dangerous game to change my family’s future, I realize what’s truly at stake.
I thought I needed her vineyard. Turns out I need her. But the secret tying my family to her land could burn us both to the ground.

I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher, via BookSirens. This in no way impacted on my view.
Kat is ready to take life by the reins, and make her late parent's dream a reality. Now the owner of a dilapidated vineyard, she needs to restore it, but with her lack of ready money, and her trusty Kombi van breaking down, she needs all the help she can get. Enter the handsome neighbour in a flashy sports car, Marco. He seems to want to help her achieve her dreams, but a mysterious buyer is adamant they want to buy her land. Marco needs to buy the neighbouring vineyard to please his father, and finally get him to leave the family business. It'll be easy, right? Offer a ton of money for the rundown villa, and whoever the owner is would be stupid to say no. But then Marco meets Kat, and realises that the vineyard is not just some land for her, but all she has left of her family. And as Marco falls faster in love with her, he would do anything to help Kat save her legacy.
Tycoon in Tuscany is the second book in the series, and though the books can be read as standalones, this one definitely builds on the overarching plotline for the whole series. Marco is under the thumb of his mercurial father, and he and his two brother's are doing everything they can to remove him from the family, and bring him to justice. Marco gets his father to agree to leave if Marco recovers the vineyard neighbouring their villa in Tuscany. Marco assumes it'll be relatively easy, but the owner is playing hardball. And it gets even harder when he meets, and falls in love with Kat. Kat's family may have some connections, but because of her parent's relationship, they were disowned. All that's left is the vineyard, and Kat will do her parent's proud. She clearly knew that Marco was rich, but she never let him get away with his crap. She gave as good as she got, and by not fawning all over him, Marco just falls even more in love. I really liked both their romance, and the way the mystery aspect is being explored further. I'm looking forward to reading book 3.
