Goodreads Synopsis
Seducing the Earl of Southwell is the perfect revenge…unless Honora loses her heart.

Honora Drevenport is a young, awkward, barely acceptable young lady when she first meets the dashing Earl of Southwell and falls hopelessly in love.

After suffering a terrible humiliation at the hands of Southwell’s friends, Honora’s family forces her to marry. Years later, Honora is no longer unhappily wed but a stunning widow and the toast of London. A woman who has never forgotten the Earl of Southwell or what happened that terrible night.

Honora’s plan is simple; make Southwell fall in love with her and exact her revenge.

Review
I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher, via NetGalley. This in no way impacted on my view.

After being humiliated great in her first season, Honora Drevenport was forced to marry. Now a widow, she is hellbent on getting revenge, particularly on the handsome Earl of Southwell. Her plan - make him fall in love with her, and humiliate him in front of the entire ton. But Honora forgets that in doing so, she risks her own heart, and her plan may just go haywire.

I didn't love this book, but didn't hate it either. I think one of the best parts of it was how quick it was, but that also meant that there wasn't as much development as they could've been. Honora and Southwell were an alright couple, and I appreciated how much they understood each other, and could see the hurt in each other's actions. The series title of The Arrogant Earls is definitely right, and the three Earls in the series - Southwell, Huntly and Monteith - are some of the most arrogant heroes I've ever read. An okay book, but I have some reservations.
