Why I'm waiting:
- Rick Riordan is one of my favourite authors, of all times. Anything he writes, I get, and the Magnus Chase series is no exception. I loved The Sword of Summer, and the look at Norse mythology, so can't wait to read more from this world.

I'm likewise waiting for the second Magnus Chase book! I loved Sword of Summer and I'm a fan of Norse mythology and its various interpretations on page and screen.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, this is the first book by Rick Riordan since the release of the first PJO book that I'm not excited about and won't be pre-ordering. It's sad, but with Magnus Chase, I felt like Riordan's become a formula author. I still love his wit and the heart of his characters, and his other books are definite rereads, but this isn't the one for me :( Still, I hope you love it as much as I loved this other books!
